We continue on our "Road to the Open" this month, prepping for our first Open Workout of 2015 to be hosted at CF UP on Friday, February 27th. Programming will keep you on your toes before and on the floor after the WODs, so come ready to play and be ready to fire your intensity button.
For those of you not familiar with the Open, it is the qualifier for the Regionals en route to the CrossFit Games. "Open" to all, anyone who submits a score, either by performing the workout in front of a qualified judge or via video submission to CF HQ, will receive a score and be rated and ranked among their CF peers. Despite it being a qualification for CrossFit's greatest competition, it is an opportunity for the rest of us to participate in this unifying, 5-week long event, with CrossFitters from not only our gym, but across the whole world. Be a part of something bigger than our daily WOD, join us in the celebration of fitness with others!
Each week the workout will be released, we will be running the WOD on all workouts on Friday. Scaled and RX options will be available, just let your coach know if you want to be scored. If you can't make it on Friday, come in during Open Gym the next day (Saturday) to get scored. Of course, if you just want to come in and workout and don't care about your score, join us for that, too:) Stay tuned for more information.
